Q: How do I order rope with a spliced end?
- Add rope to cart with the quantity equal to the final length desired plus an additional two (2) feet.
- Add desired splice service to order.
- Add Whipping or Reeving Eye to order if desired.
- Fill out the special instructions box in the checkout cart with your splicing specifications; for example final length desired, eye size and/or desired shackle/thimble.
If you would like a shackle or thimble spliced on your rope that is not listed on our website please include a note describing the desired hardware. Our team will contact you with updated pricing before processing your order.
Q: Which splice should I choose?
- The splice for each rope is conveniently located on the rope page under the add to cart button. Whipping is commonly used to cleanly terminate the end of a rope. Reeving Eyes are non-load bearing, commonly used to assist with attaching a messenger line to run a halyard up a mast.

Q: When will I be charged for my order?
- Your credit card will be charged for your order at the time of shipment.
- Your credit card may be pre-authorized for larger orders to confirm there are sufficient funds before the line is cut.
Q: Can I return my order of rope?
- Rope orders cut to your length specifications are not returnable. We cut rope to your specifications from a spool of rope and sadly cannot offer refunds on items of this nature.
